EV100 Valve Block

The Blain EV program includes the widest range of options offered to the elevator industry for high performance passenger service. Easy to install, EV‘s are smooth, reliable and precise in operation throughout extreme load and temperature variations.

EV4 Valve Block

Blain's EV4 program includes the elevator industry's widest range of vvvf solutions for the ultimate in passenger elevator comfort. The EV4 are easy to install, run quietly, are reliable and precise in use under extreme load and temperature fluctuations with built-in overload protection and various energy saving modes. The EV4 valve uses the L1000H inverter to control the up direction, while the down direction is handled by the valve itself. In this way, the EV4-vvvf series offers a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution.

SEV Valve Block

The Blain Servo Electronic Valve (SEV) is controlled by closed loop digital electronics, providing consistent acceleration and deceleration of hydraulic elevators largely independent of load and oil temperature. An electronic card regulates the perform- ance of the car via variable-flow solenoid valves. The elevator operation can be monitored, recorded and adjusted by a laptop computer either on site or remotely through the modem connection. Optionaly, the electronic card can be used to change data. Additional intermediate speeds for maintenance runs can also be programmed.

Door Lock Valve

The L10 pressure lock value is a solenoid operated check valve designed for the hydraulic elevators and includes a self closing manual lowering valve. Its purpose is to allow free flow of oil from the pump unit to the cylinder for upward travel and to prevent flow in the reverse direction from the cylinder to the pump unit until and electrical signal is given to the solenoid.

Key features:

  • Designed for the hydraulic elevators
  • Includes a self closing manual lowering valve
  • Allow free flow of oil from the pump unit to the cylinder for upward travel
  • Prevent flow in the reverse direction from the cylinder to the pump

Hydraulic Tank Heaters

Hydraulic tank heaters are intended primarily for application in hydraulic control systems for machine tools, presses, hydraulic elevators, servo systems, etc. where overnight conditions or periods of non-operation cause the temperature of the hydraulic fluid to fall below desirable levels.

The heater is designed to maintain up to approximately 500 litres of oil in an unheated room at a temperature of +20°C to +25° C.

Flow, Pressure & Temperature Sensors

Installed in the cylinder line between the control valve and the ball valve, the Q10 Flow Meter measures the rate of flow of hydraulic fluid to and from the cylinder. According to the ram size, accurate measurement of car speeds including accelerations, decelerations and stops are assessed by the electronic card, fed to the PC / Laptop and displayed as travel-graphs. Any irregularity of the movement of the car, such as over-speeding, prolonged leveling or abrupt start and slow down movements indicating potential problems can be registered on site or can remotely monitored through modem connection. Printouts of the results provide valuable records of the installation. Sensors for registering system pressure and temperature are optional.

Key Features:

  • Measures the rate of flow of hydraulic fluid to and from the cylinder
  • Accurate measurement of car speeds including accelerations, decelerations and stops are assessed by the electronic card
  • Any irregularities are viewed via PC/laptop
  • Registered on site or remotely monitored via modem

Handpumps

The H 11, H12 and H 13 pumps are for application with hydraulic lifting or pressing equipment, for emergency operation of hydraulic elevators and for the pressure testing of hydraulic systems in general.

The H 11 and H 13 are constructed for side mounting. The H 12 is fitted with a base plate for separate application. The built-in relief valve should be adjusted to prevent unintentional high pressure being applied to the system. A built-in manual valve for releasing pressure from the system is available as an option.

Rupture Valves

The R10 rupture valve can be mounted in any position directly onto the cylinder inlet.

In the event of failure in the main cylinder line or where the down speed exceeds allowable limits, the R 10 valve closes, bringing the car to a smooth stop.
