This can be programmed in the Avire Hub or by sending an SMS to the Avire DCP to change this parameter, by sending the following code (you will need to know the telephone number of the DCP):
Pin1234, space P117, space 1
Please note that the four digits (Pin1234) are the pin code for the DCP.
An additional CAN wire connection is required from the DCP connector ‘J8’ to the DAU PIT.
‘SW4’ on the DCP will also need to be in the ‘OFF’ position.
The cover on the DCP will need to be removed to gain access to the connector and switch.
It is possible the selected Codec is incorrect. The DCP Codec configuration P078 needs to be changed to ‘0’. This can be checked and programmed in the Avire Hub or by sending an SMS to the DCP to change this parameter, by sending the following code (you will need to know the telephone number of the DCP):
Pin1234, space P078, space 0
Please note that the four digits (Pin1234) are the pin code for the DCP.
All CAN-enabled Avire products have an End of line (EOL) switch which is set as ‘ON’ by default in what condition would EOL be turned ‘OFF’?
Using more than two CAN-enabled Avire products would require first and last device in the CAN line to remain ‘ON’ all others devices should be ‘OFF’
E.g. 1 x DCP & 1 x DAU connected both EOL switched to ‘ON’
1 x DCP, 1 x Lift Hawk and 1 x DAU connected the Lift Hawk should be EOL switched ‘OFF’
The DAU requires the external Alarm Push buttons to be voltage free, if not you will need to wire a separate relay in circuit.
Check that the DCP settings have not changed from the pre-set Avire defaults. This can be checked and programmed in the Avire Hub or by sending an SMS to the DCP to change these parameters, by sending the following code (you will need to know the telephone number of the DCP):
Pin1234, space P014, space 7, space P046, space 100, P078, space 0
Please note that the four digits (Pin1234) are the pin code for the DCP.
The DCP CAN bus connections may be reversed. Check that the CAN High and Low wires are correctly installed.
Check that the antenna cable from the DCP is not crossing the CANBus line
If you are not using shielded wires this can cause interference
Check that the shielding is not on ground for both sides
In a few installations it may be necessary to try positioning the antenna outside of the shaft to avoid interference
To access the Signal Strength Tester use dip-switch 1 on SW1 so that the current signal strength is displayed via the LEDs. Return the dip-switch 1 on SW1 to OFF position after the check.
It could be one of following issues:
• SIM cards is locked with a PIN code. You can find more information on how to unlock within the Installation guide.
• SIM doesn’t have data allowance
• Antenna is not connected correctly
• Wrong CCID & Phone numbers are entered
The CAN1 ID switch used for setting the lift shaft number may be duplicated. SW1 & SW 2 are used to set the correct lift shaft.
