Pivot Pit Ladder - Type F
Smart, Space-Saving Access for Narrow Shafts
The pivoting pit ladder is ideal for narrow lift shaft conditions, providing safe pit access while maximising available space. Thanks to its specialised fixing brackets, the ladder automatically pivots forward when weight is applied, creating a secure angle for technicians to climb. When not in use, an integrated spring mechanism retracts the ladder into a vertical stowed position against the shaft wall—maintaining a clear gap to the pit floor and minimising obstruction.
With an installation depth of just 80–90 mm (depending on the ladder length), the Type F ladder is perfect for tight spaces and fully compliant with EN 81-20/50 lift standards.
